I am a painter. I love the smell of the paint and oils, the texture in the layers of paint, the interplay of color, the vigor of the brush stroke, and the impact of the absence of paint on the canvas.

The strokes of paint let me explode traditional notions of landscapes, and give to the docile cows and bulls a soul and a hint of menace.
